1. Check whether the motor is heated
If the temperature rise of the motor is not high, the first thing to check is whether the electronic thermal protection function of the Mitsubishi inverter is preset reasonably, if the Mitsubishi inverter still has margin, the preset value should be relaxed; If the allowable current of the Mitsubishi inverter is no longer marginal, can not be relaxed, and according to the production process, the overload is attributed to the normal overload, then it is clarified that the selection of the Mitsubishi inverter is improper, and the capacity of the Mitsubishi inverter should be increased to replace the Mitsubishi inverter. This is because when the motor is dragging a variable load or an intermittent load, it only needs that the temperature rise does not exceed the rated value, which is allowed to be overloaded for a short time (a few minutes or tens of minutes), while the Mitsubishi inverter does not allow it. If the temperature rise of the motor is too high, and the overload is attributed to the normal overload, it is indicated that the motor is overloaded. In this case, the first consideration should be whether the gear ratio can be appropriately increased to reduce the load on the motor shaft. If it can be increased, the transmission ratio will be increased; If the transmission ratio cannot be increased, the capacity of the motor should be increased.
2. Check whether the three-phase voltage on the motor side is balanced
If the three-phase voltage on the motor side is unbalanced, then check whether the three-phase voltage at the output end of the Mitsubishi inverter is balanced, if it is not balanced, the problem is inside the Mitsubishi inverter, and the inverter module and its driving circuit of the Mitsubishi inverter should be checked.
If the voltage is balanced at the output end of the Mitsubishi inverter, the problem is in the line from the Mitsubishi inverter to the motor, and it should be checked whether the screws at all terminals have been tightened. If there is a touch device or other electrical appliance between the Mitsubishi inverter and the motor, it is also necessary to check whether the terminals of the appliance are tightened and whether the contacts are in good touch condition.
If the three-phase voltage on the motor side is balanced, the operating frequency at the time of tripping should be understood: if the operating frequency is low and there is no vector control (or no vector control), the U/F ratio should be reduced first; If the load can still be driven after dropping, it is clear that the original preset U/F ratio is too high, and the peak value of the excitation current is too large, and the current can be reduced by decreasing the U/F ratio. If the load cannot be carried after the drop, the capacity of the inverter should be increased; If the inverter has a vector control function, the vector control mode should be used.
3. Check whether the Mitsubishi inverter is malfunctioning
If you can't find the cause after the above checks, you should check whether it is a maloperation.
