Two new members of the Ruler3000 family of Sick 3D vision products have been added, named Ruler3120 and Ruler3008.

  The new 3D vision sensor solution Ruler3000 from SICK is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications and is characterized by its high speed and image quality.

The 3D vision sensor is based on CMOS sensors from SICK, which are also used in the Ranger3 product family, and provide excellent image pre-processing and reliable measurement results.

Factory-calibrated sensors can determine the true 3D shape of an object, regardless of its contrast or color, and the Ruler3008 all-in-one 3D camera provides effective measurements with a high resolution of up to 3μm.

  1) The repeatability accuracy value is calculated by 20 measurements at each of the 27 different positions in the field of view (9 different X positions and 3 different Z positions). For all measurements at all 27 positions, the repeatability value is 3 times the standard deviation (3σ).
