Xi'an, China, December 16, 2021 – Honeywell today announced the official opening of its Honeywell (Xi'an) Co., Ltd. and Honeywell Intelligent Construction Technology Group Innovation Operation Center located in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi Province. The center will cooperate with Honeywell's high-tech skills and innovative R&D capabilities to comprehensively contribute to the intelligent construction of China's western region, and further fulfill Honeywell's long-term commitment in China.
Shaanxi Xixian New Area is the first national-level new area established with the approval of the State Council with the theme of innovative city development methods. In September last year, Honeywell signed a strategic investment agreement with Shaanxi Xixian New Area, which plans to invest in the operation, research and development, shopping malls and sales of its intelligent construction technology affairs in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi Province. During this period, the first phase of the project focuses on the operation and R&D investment of fire-related affairs, integrates other advanced skills of Honeywell, and participates in the construction of a smart city in Xixian New Area.
