The isolation switch is equipped with a manual operating mechanism, generally using Cs6-1 manual operating mechanism, the operation should first pull out the positioning pin, the pilot holding closing or opening should be decisive and fast, at the end of the attention should not be too strong, the operation must be locked to lock the positioning lock, and visually check whether the position of the moving contact meets the requirements.

When operating the single-pole isolation switch with an insulating rod, the closing should first close the two sides of the phase, and then close the intermediate phase; When opening, the order is reversed.

It must be noted that the operation, whether it is closed or opened, should be carried out without load or within the allowable operating range of the disconnector. For this reason, before operating the disconnector, it is necessary to check the circuit breaker in series with which it is connected, and it should indeed be in the open position. If the load of the disconnector belt is a transformer within the specified capacity range, all the low-voltage loads of the transformer must be disconnected first, and the disconnector must be opened after it is unloaded; When sending power, first check that the low-voltage side switch of the transformer is in the breaking position before closing the isolation switch.

If there is a mis-closing with load, it shall not be opened immediately; When the load opening occurs, if it has been opened, it shall not be closed again.
