INVT inverter fault code

　　Inverter Unit Failure (OUT)

This fault includes OUT1, OUT2, and OUT3, which represent the U-phase, V-phase, and W phase faults of the inverter unit, respectively. This fault generally only occurs in machines that use PC929 to drive optocouplers, which means that the driver boards include 1270 series, 1290AV03, 1250AVS series, 1258AVS series, etc.

Current Sense Fault (ITE)

This fault is relatively simple and is usually caused by a failure of the current detection circuit. At present, INVT mainly uses two forms of current detection circuits: Hall sensor detection and 7840 optodeaf isolation detection.

POFF failure

There are only three reasons for the failure of POFF in general:

The detected DC bus voltage is severely low.

Lack of sign anomalies.

The voltage level parameter of the 220V machine is set incorrectly.

OU overvoltage fault

OU faults are divided into accelerated overvoltage, deceleration overvoltage, and constant speed overvoltage. The fault codes corresponding to them are OU1, OU2, and OU3 respectively.

The SPO output is out of phase fault

There are generally two causes of output phase loss faults:

A phase current detection circuit is abnormal;

The phase drive circuit is abnormal.

The OC is faulty

There are three types of OC faults, namely OC1, OC2, and OC3, where OC1 indicates accelerated overcurrent, OC2 indicates deceleration overcurrent, and OC3 represents constant speed overcurrent.

UU failure

The UU fault is caused by the DSP detecting that the bus voltage is low during the operation of the inverter (including acceleration and constant speed deceleration). There are two possible causes:

Bus voltage detection circuit failure: that is, the actual bus voltage is normal, but the bus voltage detection circuit itself is faulty.

Bus voltage is lower than the undervoltage point: that is, the actual bus voltage is lower than the undervoltage point corresponding to the voltage level, resulting in a fault.

OL1 and OL2 are faulty

OL is a fault of the protection motor or inverter reported after the software comparison calculation, which is a "soft" fault and can be solved by debugging, and generally does not involve maintenance.

OL1 could be:

The grid voltage is too low;

The rated current of the motor is set incorrectly, which may be caused by large or small currents;

The motor stall or load abrupt change is too large;

Big horse-drawn trolley.

OL2 could be:

Acceleration is too fast;

The spinning motor is implemented at start-up;

The grid voltage is too low;

The load is too large.
