In the company's special bread production line, INVT realized 180 GD350 series inverters connected through PROFINET networking to drive its transmission equipment.
Previously, the factory had been using a high-performance inverter of the Germany S brand, and due to the problems of delivery and application that were not conducive to the commissioning of equipment engineers, it decided to introduce new inverter products. By using GD350 inverter and PROFINET bus communication card for batch networking, the product is easy to debug and protect. If a slave fails to shut down in the network, all inverters in the same PROFINET line after the slave will lose PROFINET communication, that is, all stations after the slave will be disconnected.
In this application, the on-site PROFINET networking adopts a star network topology, relying on an external Ethernet switch, which effectively avoids the above problems.
