Friction welding machine is a welding method that has emerged in recent years, which has the advantages of welding solid-state welding, wide process adaptability, high reliability of welding process, high dimensional accuracy of weldments, high efficiency and low consumption, and is now widely used in hydraulic pipe fitting processing enterprises. According to the characteristics of automatic friction welding machine, INVT has developed a friction welding machine on the basis of Goodrive35 series inverter, which has been successfully applied to a hydraulic pipe fitting processing enterprise in Hebei, which mainly processes ∮ 42, ∮38, ∮ 22 and these three kinds of hydraulic pipes.
Friction welding is usually a method of butt welding of rotating workpieces, and the main parameters that need to be controlled are: speed, welding time, forging pressure, friction time, and friction positioning accuracy. Among them, positioning accuracy is the key parameter of the main test of the friction welding machine, which is related to the welding quality and welding strength.
The friction welding machine of a hydraulic pipe fitting processing enterprise in Hebei Province requires the friction welding machine to operate without failure for 24 hours, which puts forward the following requirements for the control of the inverter:
1. After each automatic welding is completed, the welding spindle is positioned in the same position to ensure the welding accuracy.
2. The motor needs to be overclocked, and the maximum operation reaches 70HZ.
3. The inverter has strong overload capacity, the acceleration and deceleration time is 0.2S, the positioning acceleration and deceleration time is 0.3S, and the instantaneous overload is 1.7 times.
In response to the needs of customers, INVT proposed the use of Goodrive35 product scheme for electrical control. Combined with the working characteristics of the continuous friction welding machine, the inverter is required to have high overload capacity, the inverter needs to run at high speed beyond the rated frequency of the motor, and the metal parts are accurately positioned at the welding end to ensure the welding accuracy and strength. The asynchronous servo motor of the friction welding machine adopts INVT asynchronous servo motor, and the encoder adopts incremental 2500 line.
Control Order:
1. The PLC gives the start signal, and the motor drives the rotary fixture to rotate at high speed.
2. When the rotating fixture rotates at high speed, the hydraulic system pushes the slide table forward and gradually starts welding, and the push pressure of the slide gradually increases.
3. When the welding is completed, the PLC gives the spindle back to zero model, and the rotating fixture is quickly and accurately positioned to the zero point, and the jacking forging pressure is added to a high pressure to ensure that the welding is firm.
4. After the inverter outputs the positioning signal, the pressure is maintained for a period of time, and the slide table automatically returns to start the next welding, so as to reciprocate.
INVT Goodrive35 is simple to operate, easy to maintain, low failure rate, rich I/O interface, with a wide range of speed regulation (0-400HZ), fast response, high control accuracy and other characteristics. It is worth noting that Goodrive35 has a strong overload capacity, 150% overload is allowed for 1 minute every 5 minutes, at the same time, Goodrive35 also has the characteristics of high control accuracy, and the error is 0.1% of the maximum speed under closed-loop vector control. Together, these ensure 24-hour trouble-free operation of the FSW machine!
