Introduction to Mitsubishi Data Backup and Recovery

In the case of data backup and restoration, the method of batch backup function and the method of individual file input and output function can be used. The following devices can be used for batch backup/rehabilitation.

Memory card (front SD card), DS (SD card on the back of the graphics unit), USB memory The main data backup/rehabilitation function is used when the initial condition data set by the machine manufacturer is backed up/restored. The backup/recovery of the master data is independent of the selected equipment and is always carried out using the built-in memory.

( Note 1) When an NC data file already exists in the folder where the backup is performed, the acknowledgment message "Are you sure you want to replace it?" (Y/N)”。 In this case, enter [Y], [Y], or [INPUT] to start standing.

( Note 2) When rearranging tool data, the operation message "File Access Error" is displayed and cannot be backed up.

Note 3: Custom data processing cannot be aborted while performing backups.

2 General recovery

The following is an illustration of the process for backing up various NC data on all recovered memory cards.

(2) Enter the security code.

(Note 3) If you want to undo this process, press the [ Back ] key.

(Note 4) If the settings of the active backup device are different from the selected device at that time, the initial display orientation of the cursor is "manual" inverted display.

(Note 5) In the following cases, the fault information will be displayed and rehabilitation will not be conducted. - Active Runtime - When any of the data maintenance keys 1, 2, and 3 are useful - If the NC production number is inconsistent with the backup data production number - When the "System Data" file does not exist in the transmission policy - When the high-capacity PLC option is useful, store a ladder larger than 256Kb and make the entire part, and the option function is invalid

(Note 6) When intelligent safety supervision is useful, data rehabilitation including safety parameters and safety ladder diagrams cannot be carried out when the security code has not been entered

(5) Move the cursor and select the file. Press the [INPUT] key
