Compared with the open bus used in the past, the out-of-phase closed bus is closed in the grounded metal shell, which basically eliminates the interphase short circuit, thus improving the safety and reliability of the bus operation.

Because of the shielding effect of the shell circulation and eddy current, the out-of-phase shut-off bus greatly reduces the electric power and the electrical energy loss of the nearby steel components during the short circuit.
