1. 3-pin relay wiring

The common 3-pin relay is the car horn relay.

No. 1 is the contact terminal, which connects the load;

No. 2 is the common terminal between the contact and the coil, which is connected to the power supply;

No. 3 is the coil terminal, which connects to the button switch (such as the horn button on the steering wheel).

Press the button switch, 2, 3 on, the coil is energized, the contact is closed, 1, 2 is on, and the horn makes a sound.

2. 4-pin relay wiring

The 4-pin relay is the most common SPST relay.

Pin 1 and 2 are coil terminals, and pins 3 and 4 are contact terminals.

1. 2 conduction, coil energization, internal mechanical transmission, 3 and 4 contacts are closed (normally closed type is disconnected), and the load loop is turned on.

3. 5-pin relay wiring

The 5-pin relay is a common SPDT relay.

1 and 2 are coil terminals, 3 are common contacts, and 4 and 5 are normally open and normally closed contacts.

Initial state, 3, 5 contacts are on, and load 5 is working; After the coil power supply is powered, 1 and 2 are turned on, the coil is energized, the 3 common contacts are switched to close with the 4 normally open contacts, and the load 4 starts to work.

Fourth, 6 pin relay wiring

The conventional 6-pin relay is not much different from the 5-pin principle, that is, there is an additional common terminal, and the two terminals 1 and 6 are connected together and act as a common terminal at the same time.
