Rosemount 475 Communicator Debugging Fisher Valve Positioner Steps: The intelligent Fisher Positioner needs to be debugged before use, we will talk about the debugging steps of Fisher DVC6200 and DVC2000 respectively.

One: Connect to the Rosemount 475 communicator

1. Enter the interface and select HART;

2. Select online and enter.

3. If there is an alarm signal, select YES and enter;

4. Select configure from the online drop-down menu and press enter;

5. Select the calibration menu and press Enter;

6. Select autocalibration;

7. Select outofservice in the warning menu;

8. Select CONTINUE and enter to select travelcontrol;

9. The automatic calibration of the valve does not need to be operated, just wait until the interface shown in the following figure;

10. Automatic verification completes OK key confirmation;

11. Select OK;

12. Modify it to the inservice status, and the calibration is completed.

Step 2: DVC positioner feedback debugging instructions

1. Select ManualSetup in the configure menu;

2. Select mode protection to change inservice to OUTOFservice;

3. Choose to change the instrument mode;

4. Select OutofService. Enter and return;

5. Warm reminder to choose OK;

6. Select outputs in ManualSetup to set the tracker feedback;

7. Select outputterminal;

8. Select outputterminal;

9. Select enable and enter;

10. Be sure to select send to complete the feedback use settings. Remember to change the valve back to the inservice state.

Step 3: The base station check button is activated

1. Activate the function under the manualsetup menu;

2. Activate the function and select send to complete the self-travel calibration button setting of the junction box;

3. Press the debugging button for 3-10 seconds, the valve will automatically carry out stroke calibration, and the valve will automatically carry out stroke calibration.

Step 4: Adjust the sensitivity

If you find that the valve under the Fisher valve positioner oscillates, or the valve action is too slow, you can adjust the TuningSet (simply understood as sensitivity) to improve it, and click send to send.

There is "CDEFGHIJKLM" optional, C valve response is slow, M valve reaction is fast, the faster the response, the easier it is to cause shock.

Step 5: Set the InstrumentMode

When performing positioner verification, when adjusting the parameters during positioner verification and parameter adjustment, it is generally necessary to put the InstrumentMode in the OutOfService (or NotInService) state, and the InService must be put into the verification and adjustment after the verification and adjustment are completed!

The above are the steps to use the Rosemount 475 communicator for debugging, in addition to the 475 communicator, the debugger with HART or current signal can be debugged.

2. Debugging of the DVC2000

The Fisher DVC2000 Digital Valve Controller consists of a large number of components (from the outside to the inside): enclosure with glazing, EMI protective housing, motherboard with LCD and touch buttons, amplifier main key, manifold assembly, I/P converter, terminal block and sensor assembly, vent hole, housing.

1. Remove the shell first, then wiring it, then turn on the power supply of the current generator to send 4mA-20mA current signal to turn on the LCD display, and then select the language.

How to do it: Press and hold the four keys at the same time, and then use the up and down keys to select the language you need among the seven languages. After that, press the right arrow once to confirm.

2. Then set the parameters according to whether the actuator of the valve body is air-open or air-closed.

How to operate: Press the down button to find the "Detailed Settings" option, and then press the right button to confirm the actuator of the valve body is:

Air Open (FC): Press the right button to find the "Zero Control Signal" item, then press the up and down buttons to select "Valve Off" and press the right button to confirm. Then press the right button to find the item "Stroke transmitter output 4mA", press the up and down buttons to select "Valve Off" and press the right button to confirm

Air-closed (FO): Press the right button to find the "zero control signal" item, then press the up and down buttons to select "valve open" and press the right button to confirm. Then press the right button to find the item "Stroke transmitter output 4mA", press the up and down buttons to select "Valve Off" and press the right button to confirm

3. Automatic calibration of the itinerary

Operation method: press the down button to find the "stroke calibration" item, press the right button to confirm the entry, then press the up and down buttons to select "automatic" and press the right button to confirm, the LCD displays "press the right button for 3 seconds and the valve will act" and then follow its prompts to operate, it can automatically search for the whole stroke 0%, 100%, 50%. Press the right button to confirm when you're done.

Note: You can't exit during the search, pressing any key won't work, you have to wait for the whole trip to go.

Set the gain code (C-M), the valve action is slow when C, and the valve action is fast when M. Select the appropriate one, generally set it to "L", and the valve does not oscillate.

How it works:

Press the down button to find the "tuning" item, press the right button to confirm enter, then press the up and down buttons to select "Auto" and press the right button to confirm, the LCD displays "press the right button for 3 seconds and the valve will act" and then follow its prompts to operate, enter the automatic tuning, and then wait, press the right button to confirm when finished.

In the future, if the valve oscillates in use, then select "Manual" and press the right button to confirm, the LCD will display "Press the right button for 3 seconds, the valve will act", and then follow its prompts to operate, and modify the setting value (gain code) until the valve does not oscillate.
