Most general-purpose drives are open-loop, and some machines utilize selected parts to provide a PG response.
2. What to do when the practice speed goes against the given speed?
When the output frequency of the motor is punctual, the speed of the motor will also change in the range of the additional slip rate (1%-5%) in the open-loop situation. Inverter with PG response function (optional) can be used even when the load is changed, and the speed is close to a given speed.
3. If the PG motor is used, can the speed accuracy be improved after the reaction?
The inverter with PG reaction function has high accuracy. But the speed accuracy depends on the accuracy of the PG itself and the resolution of the output frequency.
4. What is the stall avoidance function?
When the acceleration time is too short, and the change of the output frequency of the inverter is much greater than the change of the speed (electric angular frequency), the inverter will trip due to excessive current and stop running, which is the so-called stall. In order to avoid continuous operation of the motor due to stalling, it is necessary to sense the current and manipulate the frequency. In the case of excessive acceleration current, the acceleration rate is appropriately reduced. The same is true when slowing down. The combination of these two functions is a stall.
5. What is the significance of the type of machine with the acceleration time and the deceleration time that can be given separately, and the type given with the acceleration and deceleration time?
Strict rules on short-term ramp-up, slow deceleration or the need for small machine tools can be given separately for production time, but for fans and other occasions, acceleration and deceleration times can be given together.
6. What is regenerative braking?
If the motor reduces the frequency of the instructions in operation, then the motor becomes an asynchronous generator and works as a brake, i.e. regenerative braking.
7. Can the braking force be increased?
The energy recovered from the motor is stored in the filter capacitor of the inverter, because the capacitor capacity is related to the voltage resistance, the regenerative braking force of the general inverter is about 10%-20% of the additional torque, that is, 10% to 20% of the additional torque. With the optional braking unit, it can reach 50%-100%.
