In Delixi voltage regulator, the voltage correction from and under voltage conditions is performed through two basic operations, namely Oersted and step-down operation. These operations can be switched on and off manually or automatically by electronic circuits. Under voltage conditions, the voltage for boost operation increases to the rated level, while buck operation decreases the voltage level during overvoltage conditions.

The concept of stabilization involves adding or subtracting voltage from and from the power supply. For the fulfillment of such tasks, the stabilizer uses transformers, which are connected in different equipment with switching relays. Some regulators use transformers with taps on the windings to provide different voltage corrections, while servo regulators use autotransformers for a wide range of corrections.

To understand this concept, let's consider a brief step-down 230/12V rated transformer and its connection to these operations given below.

Illustrate a step-up device in which the polarity of the secondary winding is directed by the direct addition of its voltage to the primary voltage. Thus, in the case of an undervoltage condition, the transformer (whether a tap converter or an autotransformer) is switched by a relay or a solid-state switch, which attaches the rated voltage to the input voltage.

The transformer is connected by a step-down device, during which the polarity of the secondary coil is directed by the method of subtracting the primary voltage from its voltage. Under overvoltage conditions, the switching circuit converts the connection to the load into this equipment.

A two-stage voltage regulator that uses two relays to supply constant AC power to the load under overvoltage and undervoltage conditions. By switching relays, buck and boost operations can be performed for two specific voltage fluctuations, one is undervoltage, e.g., 195V, and the other is overvoltage, e.g., 245V.

In the case of a tap transformer-type regulator, different taps are switched according to the amount of boost or buck voltage required. However, in the case of an autotransformer-type regulator, a motor (servo motor) is used in conjunction with a sliding contact to obtain a boost or buck voltage from the autotransformer, as it consists of only one winding.
