Delixi's three-phase circuit breaker is generally divided into three types, namely 3P, 3P+N and 4P.

(1) Differences:

3P: Only three wirings are used for pure three-phase electrical equipment, which trips when there is no single-phase load to the ground or when there is a short circuit between phases; Otherwise, when a one-phase N-line load occurs, the N-line circuit breaker acts as a leakage current;

3PN: After the four-wire l1l2l3n passes through the transformer coil, it can use three-phase electricity or single-phase electricity. Regardless of whether the three-phase load is balanced or not, the leakage switch will not operate; Only when there is leakage, i.e. single-phase grounding or phase-to-phase short circuit;

4P: The four-wire L12L3 passes through the transformer coil in the same way as the 3PN, except that the 4P disconnects the N wire, and the 3P retains the N wire.

(2) Type

Four-pole circuit breakers are divided into four types: A, B, C, and D:

Answer: The n-pole is not equipped with an over-current tripper, and the n-pole is always connected together and is not closed or disconnected from the other three poles.

b: There is no overcurrent tripper at the N pole, and the N pole is connected to the other 3 poles.

The C: N pole is equipped with an overcurrent tripper, and the N pole is connected to the other 3 poles.

d: The N pole is equipped with an overcurrent tripper, and the N pole is always on, and is not closed or disconnected from the other three poles.

(3) Application:

In the case of using four poles, it is necessary to indicate which product to choose, because it is the same four poles, but whether an overcurrent releaser is installed on the N line, the function and use are different.

The overcurrent tripper is installed on the N line, which can be used for three-phase four-wire distribution lines dominated by single-phase loads, and can also be used for nonlinear loads that generate a large number of harmonics, such as gas discharge lamps, thyristor dimming, speed regulation lines and other occasions with special requirements. Generally, an N-wire circuit breaker without overcurrent tripper can be used for the equipment circuit.

In fact, although A and D are called quadrupole circuit breakers, their N-poles are always connected and do not close or disconnect with the other three poles. Therefore, this molded case circuit breaker, commonly known as "pseudo-quadrupole", is 3PN, and there is no essential difference between the three-pole molded case circuit breaker. The only thing that is more useful than a three-pole MCCB is that in the whole cabinet, the line access may be more convenient. Therefore, this circuit breaker can only be used for three-phase loads, and only for a small number of single-phase loads (if there is a controlled power supply, the whole set of 220V system is used).
