Siemens Sensors & Communications Co., Ltd. (SSCL), located in Qixianling, Dalian High-tech Industrial Park, was established on October 17, 2006 and is wholly owned by Siemens (China) Co., Ltd. The plant has an area of about 40,000 square meters and a floor area of about 18,000 square meters. SSCL is the fifteenth plant of Siemens Industry Automation & Drive Technologies in China and the second plant of Sensors & Communications in China. Products will be synchronized with Siemens' plants in Germany, France, Canada and Denmark in terms of variety, standards, functionality, quality and technical standards. SSCL's primary business focuses on the production of industrial process instrumentation, and the service center provides on-site service support such as integration, installation, commissioning, and repair; The repair center combined with it is responsible for the after-sales service of the products.

As a high-tech enterprise in the manufacturing industry, in order to ensure that product functions and technical standards always maintain the world standard, the digital transformation of production management is a very important premise and foundation. As a traditional manufacturing enterprise, it lacks knowledge of digitalization, and blindly starting digital projects often encounters strong resistance. With the continuous improvement of the modernization level of SSCL factories and the increasing production capacity, the old manual management method has gradually shown its shortcomings in efficiency and effectiveness, and the use scenarios of digital improvement of factory management requirements abound.
