Based on the environment of Industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025, the customer provides a theoretical and practical teaching platform for learning and intelligent manufacturing applications that simulate Industry 4.0 production lines. Among them, it will build a collection of information integration, flexible production, industrial IoT, factory automation and other system advantages, and build a workstation with functions such as control center, material supply and delivery, intelligent transportation, storage buffer, processing, paint marking, packaging and coding, industrial software, etc., for students to study and learn.
The customer planned to integrate the functions of part alignment, laser marking, screw locking, and finished product assembly in a 1-meter-square workstation. So, this means that the robot integrated in the workstation not only has to use a variety of tools to complete various tasks, but also tests the robot's obstacle avoidance deployment in a narrow space, which requires the robot to be flexible enough to be competent for this task.
solution
After discussion with the integrator, the customer chose Elite EC63 collaborative robot, with a load of 3kg, a working radius of 624mm, and a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.03mm. Taking advantage of the advantages of flexible operation, strong control, high precision, safety and reliability of the Elite robot, the robot is hoisted in the middle position of the top of the station, and two grippers and a tightening gun are integrated at the end of the robot, and in the absence of visual positioning, it completely relies on the precise repeated positioning accuracy of the robot to achieve tasks such as grabbing, centering, taking screws, and screwing. In this application, the characteristics of "safety, ease of use, flexibility and efficiency" of Elite collaborative robot are fully reflected, and the frequent attitude changes in the narrow space do not stump Elite robot, but complete all functions freely
What's even more surprising to customers is that for EC series software versions above 3.0, Elite Robot supports web-based version of the teach pendant. Its biggest advantage is that it does not need to install any plug-ins or APP, as long as you can access the robot through a normal web browser, whether it is a laptop, Ipad or mobile phone, you can connect the robot wired or wirelessly.
This greatly facilitates the group of students who come to the training, and the students can not only replace the physical teaching pendant to configure and program the robot, but also be able to operate the robot in real time, monitor the status of the robot synchronously, observe the robot movement track during debugging, and quickly edit and interact with the robot controller. In the end, the collaborative robot application solution delivered by Elite was fully recognized by the customer.
