1. Resistive screen
The screen body of the resistive screen is a multi-layer composite film, which is coated with a layer of glass or plexiglass as the bottom layer, coated with a transparent conductive layer (ITO film), and covered with a layer of smooth and scratch-resistant plastic layer with hardened appearance. The inside and outside of it are also coated with an ITO layer, and there are a number of subtle bright separation points between the two conductive layers. When touching the screen, the two layers of ITO are in contact, and the resistance changes, and the controller calculates the coordinates of the contact point according to the detected resistance change, and then performs the corresponding operation according to this coordinate. Therefore, it is necessary to apply force to the screen when operating the industrial tablet with a resistive screen in order to achieve contact.
The resistive screen has low requirements for the working environment, is not afraid of dust, water vapor and oil pollution, can be used with any object to contact, and does not have great requirements for temperature and humidity, which is suitable for use in the field of industrial control. In addition, the resistive screen is a soft screen, and the industrial tablet computer that uses the resistive screen will feel soft when operating the screen, and too much force or using a sharp object to contact may cause scratches on the contact screen.
Four-wire resistive contact screen: not afraid of dust, oil and photoelectric disturbance, afraid of scratches is its primary defect. It is suitable for public places with fixed users, such as industrial control sites, self-service terminals, etc.

2. Capacitive screen
The capacitive screen is a four-layer composite glass screen, the inner and outer surface of the glass screen and the interlayer are each coated with a layer of ITO, the outermost layer is a thin layer of silica glass protective layer, the interlayer ITO coating is used as the working surface, four electrodes are drawn out at the four corners, and the inner ITO is the shielding layer to ensure a good working environment. When touching the screen of the industrial tablet PC with your hand, the human body acts as one pole of the coupling capacitor, and the current gathers from the four corners of the screen to form the other pole of the coupling capacitor, and the relative distance from the current to the touch position is calculated by the controller to obtain the contact coordinates.
The industrial tablet PC using capacitive screen can carry out multi-touch, but the primary defect is that when the ambient temperature, humidity, electric field, etc. are changed, it may cause the drift of the capacitive screen, forming inaccuracy, and the demand is often calibrated and positioned. Therefore, capacitive screens are not easy to be used in industrial control places and disturbing local areas.
3. Infrared screen
The infrared screen uses a dense infrared matrix in the X and Y directions to detect and locate the user's contact. The infrared screen is equipped with a circuit board frame in front of the display, and the circuit board arranges infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes on the four sides of the screen, which correspond to form an infrared matrix that crosses anyway. When touching the screen of an industrial tablet PC, the contact object blocks the two infrared rays that pass through the position, so it is possible to determine the position of the contact point on the screen. Any contact object can be modified by the infrared light on the contact to complete the contact screen operation.
The infrared screen is not disturbed by current, voltage and static electricity, is not afraid of pollution, is not easy to damage, and is simple to protect. It is suitable for complex working environments, and can be used in all kinds of public places, offices and industrial control sites where the requirements are not very delicate without infrared rays and strong light disturbance. In addition, because the infrared screen relies on infrared sensing to operate, changes in external light, such as sunlight or indoor lights, will affect its accuracy, and industrial tablet PCs using infrared screens need to consider the high stability and high resolution of the contact screen.
4. Appearance sound wave screen
The appearance of the sound wave screen is composed of a contact screen, a sound wave generator, a reflector and a sound wave receiver, during which the sound wave generator can send a high-frequency sound wave across the surface of the screen, when it touches the screen, the sound wave on the contact point is blocked, so as to confirm the coordinate position, fast response, high precision.
