With the growing demand for new technologies, in the development of touch products, capacitive touch screens are becoming larger and larger, and the use of writing devices similar to paper and pen has become more intuitive and convenient. The most common way manufacturers can support stylus functionality is by using an active stylus or a passive stylus. Active stylus uses electronic components that require a power supply and emit a signal to the host device. The active stylus can support high-end features such as hovering, pressure sensing, key support, and erase on the display. The passive stylus uses conductive materials, which is equivalent to an extension of the user's body. The capacitive coupling of the user's hand allows the passive stylus to send signals when it touches the screen, and there is no active communication between the stylus and the host channel, making it difficult to distinguish between fingers and passive stylus.

In many cases, if both active and passive styluses can accomplish the same features, there is no need to add additional costs to the system. The additional components and power requirements of an active stylus make it difficult to open a market, while the poor functionality and/or bulky head of an active stylus can lead to an unnatural handwriting experience. Therefore, if the passive stylus has a tip of 1 to 2 mm, the user experience of the passive stylus can be improved if the user's palm rests on the screen while writing with the same speed and accuracy as it is maintained, and ensuring that the contact point is exactly where the "ink" hits.

In order to create a practical solution that supports both finger and passive stylus operation, it is necessary to consider a number of different usage situations. For example, developers should consider how fast the system wants to switch between detecting finger and stylus input. Again, they define how the stylus reacts when the stylus is touched before, after, or both at the finger/palm of the screen. Other important factors include the fact that the stylus is no longer detected when the stylus is equipped and so close to the hand.

The simplest and most direct way is to carry out human-computer interaction between the fingers and the touch all-in-one machine through the current originally carried by the person itself, so as to complete the useful and convenient screen operation.
