Honeywell recently announced that it has successfully cooperated with Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Leapmotor"), an innovative intelligent electric vehicle company, to ensure the driving safety of Leapmotor in all aspects and provide a reliable guarantee for the development and innovation of the new energy car industry.
It is reported that Honeywell has tailored battery safety sensors for its models for Leapmotor sedans. In the meantime, Honeywell's BPS series battery safety warning sensors can detect abnormal conditions in the battery pack and output early warning signals through a keen perception of pressure changes, while Honeywell's BAS series aerosol sensors can detect abnormal aerosol index and detect combustion or explosion conditions early. The simultaneous use of the two sensors can form a safety redundancy mechanism, which can effectively improve the reliability of battery pack safety monitoring.
As a high-speed new energy car company, Leapmotor has always regarded safety as a crucial pursuit, and a safe battery system is an important part of the safety of new energy cars. Leapmotor said that relying on efficient production processes, perfect localization services and sophisticated sensor skills, Honeywell provides a trustworthy safety guarantee for Leapmotor to accelerate its development in the new energy car track, helping Leapmotor to bring new energy battery safety skills to a new level of development and bringing a safe and comfortable driving experience to car users.
