At the end of 2013, Apollo Machinery plans to build a special experimental station for the main feed pump of a million-kilowatt nuclear power. Previously, the Apollo Machinery Experimental Station has now used one of our 4000kW high-voltage inverters, and the stable operation for several years has strengthened our confidence, so we actively participated in the bidding for the 12000kW inverter system of the pumping station.
If the experimental station is completed, it will be the first time in the world that many nuclear power pumps will be tested in a water pump plant, setting an international precedent. The project has special requirements for inverter drives:
1) The inverter not only needs to have 12000kW long-term operation ability, but also needs to be used in 10kV, 6.6kV and 6kV;
2) Considering the destructive experimental operation of the pump, it has a certain overload ability;
3) The water pump needs to do a long-term durability experiment, considering the energy saving needs of the experiment, the inverter must have the ability to switch the power frequency without traces (the total capacity of the customer's power grid is only 16000kVA), so the current can not have a little impact when switching.
Project system plan
According to the customer's bidding requirements, combined with the company's technical advantages, we provide users with a complete set of high-voltage inverter system solution plan. The plan takes the inverter as the main body, and is equipped with the customer's power frequency bypass part, the switching part of the customer's motor selection, and the on-site power supervision part.
Power supply part: 35kV incoming line, 10kV outgoing line, capacity of 16000kVA.
Frequency conversion part: It is the center of the whole system, and adopts the unit cascade structure. To ensure the solid heat dissipation of the unit, the unit adopts an innovatively planned heat pipe radiator, which greatly improves the unit heat dissipation area and ensures useful heat dissipation under full load or even overload conditions.
Bypass part: It is to switch the load from the frequency conversion drag state to the power frequency drag state, QF1 and QF3 have a motor comprehensive maintenance device to ensure the reliable maintenance of the motor under the power frequency state; The long-term power frequency and full-load operation test can save 288 kWh/h of power energy for customers and reduce the cost of testing.
Switching part and on-site power detection part: customers select the type of drag load according to their actual requirements; Because it is necessary to supervise the current and power of the M2 load at 6 kV or 6.6 kV, the power supervision part here has been added.
After getting our plan, Apollo organized a group of professional experts to certify and analyze the feasibility of the plan, and asked us to answer questions about the plan's skills on the spot. More than a dozen experts from the client side raised many professional questions about the project requirements and system plan. Our personnel have described it in detail, analyzed the system, and gave customers satisfactory answers. Because of the particularity of the nuclear power profession, not all time can request the expert group to inspect, so in order to make the pump test test earlier, it is necessary for our inverter to be satisfactory within 3 months of delivery.
From acquisition, SMT, production, to various link tests, the company has opened a green channel for the project, taking the project first. Through the joint efforts of all departments of the company, the customer factory will be notified on time to complete the corresponding inspection of the product
Homework. Two of the main projects were very satisfying to the client:
1) The inverter runs at full current, and the temperature rise of each unit meets the customer's requirements;
2) When switching without trace, there is no significant fluctuation in the switching current, so as to achieve traceless in the true sense.
Carried out the first mission and witnessed the inspection of the first set of auxiliary water supply pumps in China
The equipment arrived at the site, the on-site civil construction has been completed, and the device, wiring, and high-voltage power of the equipment are all completed on time. The project has entered the final critical commissioning stage. The first mission of the whole system is the first set of auxiliary feed water vapor pump units with independent intellectual property rights in China, which is one of the annual key projects of the customer company. The experiment plan is a two-step process: a static test and a dynamic test. The so-called static test is that all the equipment in the system is controlled by low-voltage power supply, not by high-voltage power supply, and the correctness of the logic of all parameters of the system under static is tested. Dynamic test, under the condition of load dragging, the mechanical and electrical performance of each link is tested.
The customer's technical personnel and our technical personnel start from the static debugging, carefully correct each signal and every detail, and check the data operation status of each auxiliary equipment. To the high-voltage dynamic test, the on-site operators can detect the real-time current and power of the inverter, the pressure and temperature rise of the pump, and other critical signals in real time. After the speed control test of the inverter, the relevant data of the pump under different pressure conditions. The whole set of pump unit test was carried out late at night, but the process was very smooth, and the parameters detected by the inverter were basically consistent with the values detected by the user's precision instruments, and the customers gave full affirmation to the excellent performance of the inverter.
On July 2, 2014, Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully inspected the first auxiliary feed pump unit with China's independent intellectual property rights. This product fills the domestic gap, is of great significance to promote the independence and localization of key central equipment of China's nuclear power plants, and completely breaks the monopoly of foreign manufacturers.
After the successful completion of the first mission, the high-voltage inverter completed many more test missions. The person in charge of Apollo Machinery Technology informed that the main feed pump unit will be tested during the Golden Week, which is the largest project of Apollo Machinery in the past two years, and it is also an important key node related to the breakthrough of important skills in the localization of the nuclear power industry. Due to the special nature of the nuclear power profession, if the test cannot be completed on time at this stage, the project will be postponed until the next year, and the loss will be immeasurable. We hope that our skilled personnel will participate in the pump test together. After learning of this, the company's leaders attached great importance to it and asked the project team to select skilled backbones to participate in the project test of Apollo Machinery.
The main pump group consists of 2 pumps, 1 is the main feed water pre-pump and 1 is the pressure stage main feed pump. In actual operation, two pumps are installed on both sides of one motor, and the total power of one pump is more than 12,000kW. According to the requirements of the pump test team, the two pumps were tested separately, and the parameters of each pump were measured and recorded in detail. The combined power of the water pump is greater than the rated power of the inverter, and it is necessary to switch to the power frequency state for long-term operation. When the pump unit is dragged to 50Hz, all pipes and water pressure are within the normal range, and the test power has now exceeded the rated power. After the host computer system provided by us, the traceless switching command is announced, the inverter determines the phase and volt value of the power grid within 1 second, announces the bypass command, and successfully drags the load to the power frequency state, and there is almost no fluctuation between the pump pressure gauge and the flow gauge at the moment of switching.
At 23:32 on October 17, 2014, at a historic moment, Shanghai Apollo Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully completed the thermal state test and thermal shock test of the main feed water pump unit, which was judged by the on-site nuclear power professional expert group. This destructive experiment is the first of its kind in any pump factory in the world.
