1. The working principle of Fujifilm ultrasonic flowmeter

A complete set of Fujifilm ultrasonic flowmeter is composed of ultrasonic generator, ultrasonic receiver, electronic circuit, flow display, accumulation system and other structures. The principle of ultrasonic flowmeter is shown in Figure 1.

As can be seen from Figure 1, the main principle of flow measurement with Fujifilm ultrasonic flowmeters is to measure the flow rate by detecting the effect of fluid flow on ultrasonic waves, mainly using the time difference method. First, the transducer 1 emits ultrasonic waves, passes through the channel wall 1, the fluid, and the channel wall 2, and is received by the transducer 2 on the other side. At the same time, the transducer also emits ultrasonic waves of the same frequency, and after passing through the channel wall 2, the fluid, and the channel wall 1, it is received by the transducer 1. However, due to the existence of the flow rate, the time of reception of the two is different, and there is a certain time difference, through the time difference, the flow rate can be obtained, so as to the specific flow value.

2. Fujifilm ultrasonic flowmeter installation and commissioning

Fujifilm ultrasonic flowmeter installation adjustment mainly involves the following:

(1) Transducer installation. It is necessary to locate the specific position of the transducer installation first, accurately locate the position suitable for the installation of the transducer on both sides of the water diversion project channel, and use the laser theodolite to locate it to ensure that the transducer and the center line of the water diversion canal are at an angle of 45 °. After the installation of the transducer is completed, the installation parameters should be determined in combination with the actual situation of the water diversion project, such as the length of the sound path, the angle of the sound path, the elevation of the water level meter, etc.

(2) Host installation. The key to the installation of the main unit of the ultrasonic flow meter is to ensure that the ultrasonic signal cable and the power cord can be accurately connected. Especially when laying signal cables, the two ends should be marked to avoid misconnection and mixing.

(3) System debugging. Firstly, enter the measured installation parameters of the ultrasonic flowmeter. Then, in the case of water in the water diversion channel, self-test is carried out through the flowmeter to check the actual working condition of each sound path, check once in the static water state, and check again in the moving water state to ensure that the water flow measurement value in the static water state is 0, and indirectly check the accuracy of the flow meter; Finally, check the output parameters of the ultrasonic flowmeter, and if everything meets the design requirements, it can be used normally.
