A linear displacement sensor is an electrical signal device that converts linear mechanical displacement into a linear or arbitrary function relationship through a potentiometer element. The potentiometer planned to complete the measurement of displacement intent must require a confirmation relationship between the change in displacement and the change in resistance. Generally, the variable resistance slide rail is fixed on the fixed part of the sensor, and different resistance values are measured by the displacement of the slide blade on the slide rail.
Application Requirements:
1. Ensure the stability of the power supply
The power supply requires ± 0.1% stability, otherwise it will lead to the manifestation of the scam to waver. Make sure that the wavering ups and downs of the manifest scam do not exceed the wavering fluctuations of the shaking voltage.
2. Prevent disturbance caused by static electricity
The methods to prevent electrostatic disturbance are: the signal line of the displacement sensor is shielded and placed in the trunking separately from the power line; The electronic ruler is installed on the bracket of forced grounding to ensure that the electronic ruler shell is excellently grounded; The shielded wire of the signal is grounded at one end of the electrical box. When the electronic ruler shows the digital jump, there is generally a disturbance signal in it, and the voltage can be used with a multimeter. To verify whether it is caused by static electricity, you can use a section of power cord to short the cover screw of the electronic ruler with a certain point of metal on the machine, and then the static electricity disturbance will be eliminated immediately.
Third, the connection of the three lines of the electronic ruler
The "1" and "3" lines are the power cables, and the "2" lines are the output lines. Once these three lines are connected incorrectly, a large linearity error will occur.
Fourth, the requirements of power supply capacity
If the power supply capacity is too small, the following situations can simply occur: the clamping motion will cause the injection tape to jump, or the melt motion will cause the clamping tape to wave. Especially when the solenoid valve drive power supply and the electronic ruler power supply are together, this situation is simply presented, and the voltage fluctuation can be measured with the voltage level of the multimeter in serious cases. If this situation occurs, first of all, it is not possible to solve the problem if it is not electrostatic disturbance and high-frequency disturbance, and the problem cannot be solved under the condition that the neutral is not good, then it can be suspected that the power of the power supply is too small.
Fifth, the device should be good for neutral
The viewpoint is allowed to have an error of no more than 12°, and the parallelism is allowed to not exceed 0.5mm. If this is the case, the viewpoint and parallelism will need to be adjusted.
6. Prevent short circuit
During the working process of the electronic ruler of the linear displacement sensor, there is a regular data jumping or no data at a certain point, and this situation should be checked to see whether the insulation of the connecting wire is damaged and has regular contact with the metal shell of the machine to cause a short circuit to the ground.
7. Avoid aging
If the displacement sensor is exposed to a harsh environment for a long time, the aging phenomenon will simply occur, which will affect the contact resistance of the brushes and cause the digital runout to appear. So, keep it in constant service.
