Turck is expanding its Industry 4.0 portfolio into hazardous areas and is committed to becoming a provider of end-to-end IoT solutions for process automation occupations. With the TN-R42/TC Ex as an automation specialist, Turck not only offers high-frequency RFID read/write heads that are certified for direct use in ATEX zones 1/21, but also offers reliable and abbreviated alternatives for previously impossible or very difficult uses.
Solid and compact
Due to its compact size, the read/write head stands out in the Zone 1/21 fire identification solution plan and can be installed in space-constrained use.
As a result, the narrow TN-R42/TC-Ex is ideally suited for non-contact identification of the correct hose and flange connections, and then to ensure the quality of the product in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
End-to-end high-frequency RFID system in Ex area
The interface interface of the TN-R42/TC Ex works in the same way as the specification read/write head in the secure area. It can be simply connected to Turck's BL20 or TBEN RFID interface series and, if required, can also be installed in a maintenance enclosure in Zone 2/22.
It is also capable of handling information beyond hose marking, such as sockets, data, time, or the degree of hose contamination. Turck's multiprotocol technology transmits data to the control system via three Ethernet protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus TCP).
Professional and traceable
Different types of RFID tags can meet different usage requirements. For example, high-frequency RFID tags with cipher function can be used for use where data security and visit maintenance are critical.
Turck's sophisticated high-frequency RFID system offers an optimal solution for the different identification tasks in the pharmaceutical industry. Thanks to the end-to-end application of RFID, it improves plant security and product traceability.

Turck's electrical troubleshooting tips
1. Understand the circuit principle and determine the maintenance plan: when the electrical system of a piece of equipment has shortcomings, do not rush to disassemble it, first of all, it is necessary to understand the phenomenon, pass, planning and reasons for the shortcomings of the electrical equipment. Understand the basic operating principle of the equipment and electrical system, and analyze the details of the equipment.

Turck's proximity switch fault phenomenon
1. The proximity sensor cannot confirm how far the distance between the detected objects is.
2. The switch is installed within the detection interval range, and the signal is sometimes absent (sometimes detectable, sometimes undetectable) in practice.
3. Practice the detection interval and the ...

How to use angle sensors to measure torque – Turck
It is difficult to measure torque on a continuously rolling axis, and there are several ways to do it. The most common method is to derive the torque from the energy required by the rolling shaft. In general, this means measuring the current of the motor that drives the rolling shaft. Although this is simple but inaccurate, it is caused by ...

Common faults in temperature sensors – Turck
First, there is no change in the output of the transmitter when the temperature of the measured medium rises or decreases.
This situation is mostly a problem with the sealing of the temperature sensor, which may be because the temperature sensor is not sealed well, or it may be that the sensor is accidentally welded into a small hole during welding.

5 common pressure sensors – Turck sensors
1. Piezoresistive force sensor:
Resistive strain gauges are one of the first components of piezoresistive strain transducers. The operating principle of metal resistance strain gauge is the phenomenon that the resistance value of the strain resistance adsorbed on the matrix data changes with mechanical deformation, which is commonly known as the resistance strain effect.
