Background of the case

COFCO Coca-Cola Beverages Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as COCA-Cola Beverage) is the only Coca-Cola bottling group in China that is controlled by a Chinese party. As one of Coca-Cola Global + Large Bottling Groups, CBL has 19 factories in China, covering 81% of the country's land area and 51% of the population, providing consumers with products of 17 brands in 8 categories, including soft drinks, fruit juices, fruit milk, water, functional water, coffee, ready-to-drink tea, and functional beverages.

As a leading enterprise in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, CBL's beverage business volume is particularly large, and with the change of seasons, the inventory and operation volume have obvious peaks and valleys, and the dependence on labor is strong. In the past, CBL mainly used the vehicle-mounted tablet for data interaction in warehousing operations, and the operator needed to operate the tablet while driving the forklift, which had low safety and had a great impact on work efficiency. In addition, with the increase of customer attributes, product packaging types and capacity differentiation, there are more and more SKUs, which poses great challenges to the efficiency, accuracy and real-time performance of warehouse management. Efficiency:

The number of SKUs increases, there are many customers, the order volume is large and miscellaneous, the delivery time is tight, and the information interaction is not smooth, and the operation efficiency is average.

High error rate:

The granularity of inventory information is coarse, for example, different customer attributes cannot be distinguished, which is easy to cause confusion. Resulting in an error in the goods.

High Labor Costs:

The huge workload requires a large number of operators, and the cost of human resources is close to that of labor-intensive enterprises.

Tight warehouse space:

The inventory cannot be updated in real time, and the actual account lags behind, which is easy to cause inventory backlog, resulting in insufficient inventory turnover rate and waste of space in the warehouse.
