In automation projects, software programming and debugging often take up a lot of time. FAST, which stands for "Feasibily Applicable Software Toolbox", is a new technology based on our Lenze controller products. In addition to the basic motion control functions in accordance with the PLCopen standard, Lenze controller products are available in a variety of application-specific function modules. This module not only contains specific motion function blocks, but also incorporates Lenze's extensive industry experience in this application. At present, Lenze has launched dozens of functional modules such as virtual spindles, electronic axes, flying saws, flexible cams, cross-cutting, etc., which can cover up to 80% of the software engineering design, helping customers significantly reduce the time and effort spent on developing basic functions, and use the saved time to further develop the special functions of the equipment, so as to build the application platform they need faster and better. It is worth mentioning that all these functional modules adopt international standards, such as PackML in accordance with international packaging equipment standards, so as to simplify standardized software programming to the greatest extent and ensure that the programming is in line with international standards and suitable for the global market.

FAST technology is also modular and reusable. As shown in the figure below, when planning to design a packaging equipment, the technical requirements of the equipment and the corresponding optional functional modules can be clarified by conducting a modular analysis of the equipment. These reusable function modules can then be called into the Lenze standard template to complete the entire device software architecture, and at the end only need to adjust certain parameters and implement the necessary logic controls, thus significantly reducing the time to market for the customer's product.
