At the feeding end of the special-shaped packaging machine, the cigarettes are generally loaded into the packaging box by hand, and then the cigarette box is manually placed on the conveyor belt, and the conveyor belt sends the cigarette box to the packaging machine.
In order to feed the untimed, chaotic cigarette packs into the packaging unit of the packaging machine at equal distances, a cigarette subcontracting device is required. The subcontracting device is to put the cigarette box in turn in the hook plate device, wherein the hook plate device and the packaging unit of the packaging machine are connected together, so that the connection between the manual and the machine is completed.

The solution uses Lenze9400 servo for transmission, with a production speed of up to 400 bags/min and an accuracy of less than 0.1mm. Lenze offers a drive-based control system solution for the functional requirements of cigarette subcontracting. The drive-based control system solution has the outstanding advantage of modularity of motion control programs, as the drive itself can be used not only as a drive unit for servo motors, but also as a support for a variety of PLC programming languages. All motion-related logic control can be completed by the servo controller itself, such as the host absolute encoder position information processing, zero-finding control, virtual clutch control, slip position correction in the transmission process, position power-off memory, and servo logic control and other functions. In this way, the program can be independent of the PLC control system of the machine, independently complete the subcontracting task of cigarettes, and the program itself is more flexible, stable and reliable.

2. G500-B series asynchronous servo reducer
The product is composed of Lenze's MCS geared motor combined with G500-B series reducer, which has the advantages of high precision, impact resistance and long life. This series adopts a straight shaft output method, and supports two mounting methods: solid shaft and hollow shaft. The solutions listed in this article use a hollow shaft output. Asynchronous and synchronous servos can be used in different applications. Because the cigarette subcontracting device requires high dynamic response, the high inertia of the synchronous servo is small, which can meet the requirements of high dynamic response and control accuracy (about 0.1mm).

The solution uses two Lenze 9400 servo controllers as the core of the motion control for the motion control of V-slot 1 and V-slot 2 parts. In this scheme, the two axes are fully synchronized with the encoder, and the position signal of the real axis is transmitted to V-slot 2 via the CAN bus. For the cyclical working mode, the Lenze servo has a remainder compensation mechanism, which can effectively avoid the generation of accumulated errors. The topology is shown in the figure below.
