We offer a wide range of barriers for different requirements. Barrier and Zener barriers are available to ensure the safe transmission of signals in hazardous areas.
Barrier barriers
In addition to the explosion-proof function, the barrier barrier provides an electrical barrier to protect the measurement and control circuitry from signal distortion and dangerous surges. These interface modules also function for signal conversion, linearization, signal distribution, and control signals.
The K-Series barrier barriers offer users a comprehensive solution that ensures reliable & cost-effective signal transmission between field devices and control rooms. Whether the user selects a single signal blocking module or a large-scale system integration, the K Series offers application-oriented solutions.
The H-Series can be connected to hazardous area field devices and control systems by placing multiple barrier gates on terminal blocks. Compared to a single interface module, the terminal block greatly simplifies wiring and saves costs. The terminal block is equipped with a solid plastic enclosure for quick and secure installation in the cabinet.
Zener type barrier
Zener barriers prevent the transfer of high energy from non-hazardous areas to hazardous areas. When electrical barriers or other application requirements are not required, this product range is the best choice.
Zener barriers provide cost-effective explosion protection for a wide range of applications in process automation systems. The amount of energy transferred to a hazardous location is constrained to a safe level that cannot ignite an explosive atmosphere.
The Z-System Zener barrier is mounted directly on a 35 mm DIN rail. With the accessory, the required grounding can be done directly on the DIN rail.

The difference between a force transducer and a load cell – we are blessed
A device that converts the value of a force transducer into an associated electrical signal. Force is the direct cause of changes in the motion of materials. Force sensors can detect tension, tension, pressure, components, torque, internal stresses, and strains. The specific equipment is metal strain gauges, pressure sensors, etc., which have become electric ...

Analysis of the use of P+F encoders
1. Grating pollution This will reduce the signal output amplitude, and the oil must be quietly wiped off with absorbent cotton dipped in anhydrous alcohol.
2. Encoder connection cable failure: the probability of this fault is high, and it is often encountered in maintenance, so it should be a priority element. Generally, the encoder cable is broken ...

Precautions for load cell replacement – a blessing
The premise of load cell replacement is that the axis of the applied force coincides with the axis of the sensor, we should know one thing, that is, with the increase of the additional load, the microvolt/indexing signal output by the sensor decreases.
About the electromechanical junction of the S-shaped sensor installed in the second force transmission link ...

Troubleshooting for coding problems
P+F encoders are devices that compile signals (e.g. bit streams) or data and convert them into signals that can be communicated, transmitted, and stored. The P+F encoder converts angular or linear displacements, the former known as the code disc and the latter into an electrical signal. Therefore, the phenomenon: 1, ...

Typical construction of a smart sensor
A sensor is an input device that receives a signal or stimulus and responds to it. Some sensors now integrate many sensing elements and readout circuitry into a single silicon chip, which then provides high accuracy and multiple functions. The new sensor has more functions, including user friendliness.

Points to note for encoder installation
1. Each electrical interface has its own characteristics, but also has different baud rate and transmission interval, which can be selected according to the specific application environment of the site, and the actual transmission interval is very related to the transmission rate, encoder and communication cable installation disturbance environment, grounding, cable material selection, etc.

How to use high-temperature pressure sensors - we are blessed
1. It is necessary for the sensor to be properly installed
Damage to high-temperature pressure sensors is usually caused by their installation in improperly machined holes. When a sensor is loaded into a hole that is too small or has a migraine, it may damage the sensor diaphragm and cause the instrument to not function properly.
Can...

Industrial applications of rotary encoders
Rotary encoders are a class of sensors used to detect the angle of rotation and its derived mechanical parameters, including velocity and acceleration, etc., and can detect transmission movements such as rotation and linear lines. Due to its wide range of applications, rotary encoders convert mechanical inputs into electrical signals, which can be used by counters, tachometers, programmable ...

We understand the object detection range of ultrasonic sensors
Autonomous mobile robot AMRs typically use LiDAR photoelectric sensors to detect objects. These photosensors emit light and rely on reflection to measure the distance to a specific surface. It's a great way to detect a solid object, but it can present challenges when it's surrounded by a transparent material such as glass. ...

Important things to do with your torque sensor – we are blessed
In the process of application, the sensor will inevitably be affected by the environment, temperature, dust and other factors, so that the equipment is aging or wearing, and if these problems are not dealt with in time, it will bury potential troubles for the future use of the equipment, resulting in large and small problems, and ...

How torque sensors work – we are blessed
Like many other types of sensors, torque sensors are measured using strain gauge technology. The sensor is usually a metal elastomer with a strain gauge mounted on it. Strain gauges are firmly attached to the elastomer.
If an external load acts on the sensor, the measuring body will ...

Pressure sensor zeroing calibration matters - double blessing
1) It is recommended to place the pressure sensor and its tee valve at the level of the axillary line, which is used for ventilation and sensor zeroing.
2) Approve the maintenance cap on the three-way valve to be perforated, connect the sensor with the monitor, and follow the instructions of the monitor to ...

P+F precautions for the use of safety barriers
The safety barrier, also known as the safety energy limiter, is an important part of the intrinsic safety system. There are two main types of safety barriers: P+F Zener barriers and P+f barrier barriers. The core components of the Zener barrier are Zener diodes, current-limiting resistors and fast fuse wires.

Load cells with low power consumption and low cost – we are all in good hands
Types of load cells:
Electrical strain gauge load cells:
One widely used principle is the color of a resistive strain gauge (resistance strain gauge), where the resistance is changed to an electrical output, which is then passed through an instrument to measure the mass.
Capacitive load cells: low power consumption and low cost. The principle of ...

The proximity switch determines the key points of the model
1. Select the type of proximity switch according to the detected object. If the detection object is metal, the inductive proximity switch is preferred, and if the detection object is non-metal such as wood, plastic, paper, water, etc., or smaller and finer metals, the capacitive proximity switch should be selected.

A little bit about photoelectric sensors – a blessing
Under normal circumstances, a photoelectric sensor consists of two parts: a processing path and a processing element. Its basic principle is to use the photoelectric effect to convert the measured change into a change in the optical signal, and then use the optoelectronic components to further convert the non-electrical signal into an electrical signal. The "photoelectric effect" refers to the use of light ...
