In the process of verification of the sphygmomanometer device, if the mercury in the sphygmomanometer device reaches 38kpa, then the sphygmomanometer needs to be placed in a stationary state, and it needs to be observed for two minutes or more, and finally the cause of the mercury leakage can be understood, which is mainly caused by the failure of the components of the sphygmomanometer device, and there are also some human factors.

When there is mercury leakage at the lowest end of the glass tube of the sphygmomanometer device, it can be said that the sealing rubber gasket at the lower end has been aged, and the rubber pad should be replaced, if the elasticity of the upper pressure plate spring of the glass tube of the sphygmomanometer device itself is relatively weak, and the glass tube is relatively loose, so the internal spring needs to be replaced in time, so that the elastic force of the spring can be effectively increased. When there is mercury leakage in the gap between the switch of the mercury kettle, the screw device on the switch shaft and above should usually be tightened in time, and a certain amount of strong glue can be added around the switch shaft device. When the pressure reaches 38kpa, it needs to stay for about a minute, and if there is still mercury leakage in the gap between the switches, then it is necessary to replace the mercury bottle inside in time. When the pressure rises further to 38kPa, if the mercury column at the bottom of the sphygmomanometer device is broken, it can indicate that the internal mercury content has been obviously insufficient, and air will enter the glass tube, and effective depressurization measures need to be taken immediately, otherwise the internal mercury will emerge from the top position of the sphygmomanometer device.

And you can also tilt the glass tube to the rear, really loosen the screw on the spring plate in the sphygmomanometer, move the spring to the back, and then tighten the screw effectively, if the material of the shell is made of aluminum alloy, then the screw should not be tightened too tightly.

Under normal circumstances, the staff of the measurement and verification of the sphygmomanometer device have made mistakes or unreasonable operation methods in the process of operation. The common manifestation is that the switch of the sphygmomanometer device is not closed in time after the use of the device, and after the upper cover is completely closed, there will be a part of the mercury leaking to the outside of the upper end of the sphygmomanometer glass tube. Or if the switch is turned off without a certain degree of tilting, it may eventually lead to the part of the mercury column below the zero scale line being blocked from the mercury storage bottle, and it will be retained in the value of the glass tube, and the above-mentioned mercury leakage will occur after the lid is closed. In some cases, if the lid is opened at the next operation, the remaining mercury will not be returned to the zero mark in time, and this part of the mercury will flow out of the upper part of the glass tube. Usually, the mercury storage bottle holder and the shaft of the switch and other components are more prone to mercury leakage, and when the two parts do not form a good match, mercury spraying will be triggered in the process of pressurizing the sphygmomanometer.
2. The measurement result error is large and repaired
When the above-mentioned fault occurs, usually need to replace the above-mentioned two parts in time, and in the actual working process, there are some mercury supplementation means that are relatively convenient to operate, can use the needle of the syringe to inhale the scientific, appropriate amount of mercury liquid in the spare mercury, and then open the upper cover of the sphygmomanometer device and the mercury storage bottle, insert the small hole of the tablet position at the top of the glass tube into it with a needle, and slowly inject the mercury into it, and then use the sphygmomanometer device to vibrate gently, The mercury ejected from the mercury storage bottle is fused with the newly injected mercury liquid. The final amount of mercury injected should meet the basic standard of zero error, and a smaller-diameter needle device should be used as much as possible, so that it is easier to prevent the filter from being damaged by the outside world.
