The Weidmüller Group acquires Emphatec

Electronics specialist Weidmüller, based in Detmold, is driving its strategy for process automation, connectivity, communication and digitalization. With the acquisition of Emphatec's team and property, the Weidmüller Group has further expanded its existing corporate development plans, in particular the PLC relocation and C1D2 (Class 1 Part 2 certification) resolution program.

　　Emphatec and Weidmüller have collaborated extensively over the past few decades. In order to further strengthen the partnership between the two parties and to strengthen our important organization in the process industry, we have completed the acquisition of Emphatec's affairs and property. Emphatec is a long-standing expert in customizing connectivity solutions for process career planning, including those for hazardous areas.
