To install the operating system with a USB flash drive, you first need to make a USB flash drive system installation disk, and use UltraISO software to make a USB flash drive system installation disk.
Step 1: Prepare the image file of the operating system and a USB flash drive with a storage space greater than 4 GB, and then download and install the UltraISO software (UltraISO 9.7 is used in this example).
Step 2 Insert the USB flash drive into the industrial computer, run the UltraISO software, and select the "File" → "Open" command in the main interface of the program.
Step 3 The Open 1SO File dialog box is displayed, select the operating system image file you want to mount, and click Open.
Step 4: After loading the disc image, select "Start" in the main interface of the program and the "Write to Hard Disk Image" command.
Step 5 pops up the "Write Hard Disk Image" dialog box, select the drive letter of the USB flash drive or portable hard disk in the "Hard Drive" drop-down list box, select the "USB-HDD+" option in the "Write By" drop-down list box, and click the "Write" button when finished.
Step 6 pops up a prompt dialog box that will erase all data from your mobile device, click the "Yes" button.
Step 7 The program starts writing data and displays the progress of completion.
Step 8: After the writing is complete, the message "Entered Successfully" will be displayed in the drop-down list box above the "Message", click the "Back" button.
Step 9 After the U disk system is installed, insert the U disk into the industrial computer where the system needs to be installed, and select the traditional U disk boot mode or UEFI disk boot mode according to your needs.
