An industrial display is a display that uses industrial manipulation of a process or device. What makes it unique? The dustproof and shockproof special design uses an industrial-grade liquid crystal display. In higher-than-required cases, consider a wide temperature liquid crystal display. At present, only a small number of large foreign factories produce such displays at higher prices. The degree of protection of industrial displays is indicated by IP*, which is dustproof and waterproof. The maximum dust protection rating is 6 and the maximum water resistance rating is 8.
1. Brightness
Since most flat panel displays are used in an intrachamber environment, the brightness is about 250-300 dm2 (nits), and the most common diagonal size is 15 inches of liquid crystal displays. However, in an industrial environment, the display of this brightness level is used and cannot meet the requirements, because the ambient light will be stronger, and its brightness will simply exceed the brightness of the LCD backlight. In addition, the use of touch screens is often used in industrial environments, which can also reduce the brightness of the display and make it appear darker. In common medical, industrial and public telephone booths, the required brightness should reach at least 450 cd/m2. In the past, passive manifestation skills, including liquid crystal displays, have a very poor response time compared to active luminescent manifestation skills. Whether it's a laptop or a desktop, a moment response of less than 30 milliseconds is sufficient in the customer display. However, in the industrial, medical, and gaming sectors, users are able to feel moved by dynamic content environments, which means that LCD displays are required to respond more quickly to the moment. Among the relatively recent skills, the AVS (Advanced Super View) skill or MVA (Multivariate Straight Alignment) skill now makes the response moment less than 10ms. In ASV TV, the index can reach 6 milliseconds.
2. Comparison
Unlike consumer visualizers, who are primarily used for direct investigation, users may not be able to investigate industrial-grade visualizers at optimal distances or in ideal lighting conditions, so a visualizer with higher illuminance is the best choice. For 10.4-inch, 12.1-inch, or 15-inch displays used in most industrial applications, the 4501 is the best choice.
3. Color
In some industrial uses, where special color information is more important than text or numbers, it is important to use color as a measure of the percentage of NTSC color saturation. In LCD display products, color saturation depends entirely on the effect of the backlight. CCF backlighting is a very popular skill that can reach 70% and 80% of NTSC color saturation. In some uses, this scale is not competitive enough, and sometimes the scale to be reached is close to 100% of the NTSC color saturation. This panchromatic saturation is typically achieved in liquid crystal display products that use LED backlighting.
4. Perspective
Industrial displays, commercial and consumer displays are typically designed for personal use sitting directly in front of the display. However, in most industrial uses, such situations are rare, for example, where an internal medicine physician or nurse cannot stop to investigate the visualizer directly during diagnosis and treatment, and they only want to know the data they want. With regard to large machines, the operation is only necessary to show the physician in front of it. Regarding the navigation of a ship or aircraft, it is also inconvenient to sit directly in front of the LCD display and bask in the sun. Especially when there are multiple manifests, the ones facing the viewer at different angles should have a wide scale of perspective, or "understand what is being seen at a glance". Customer monitors do not meet this requirement due to their use of the TwistedNematic perspective. In order to better adapt to industrial use, the wide scale of the display angle is required. Currently, viewing skills (e.g. ASV or MVA) of up to 178 degrees have been developed.
