The Airborne M2M enterprise Wi-Fi board is designed for networking devices in a range of machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. The small and compact form factor makes it easy to integrate into your solution. The dual-band Wi-Fi model BB-ABDN-ER-DP553, Wi-Fi bridge/router establishes wireless connectivity on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Whenever the 2.4 GHz space is congested with wireless transmission from competitors, it is possible to switch to the 5 GHz band to keep the data flowing. Enterprise-grade security protocols are important for mission-critical wireless M2M applications. AirborneM2M's multi-layered approach to security addresses the needs of enterprise-grade networks and enterprise IT departments. Advanced security features include wireless security (801.11i/WPA2 Enterprise); network security (EAP certification and certificate support); communication security (SSH capability and fully encrypted data tunneling); Device security (the ability to protect configuration data with multiple levels of encryption). Available in single and dual serial port models or single Ethernet port models. These AirborneM2M products can establish wireless connectivity on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. Whenever the 2.4 GHz airspace is congested with competing wireless transmissions, the AirborneM2M product can switch to the 5 GHz band to keep the data flowing.
