When screwing the device into the tank, the flat seal must be on the sealing surface of the process connection. In order to avoid the influence of additional tension on the diaphragm: it is forbidden to seal the threads with sealing packing or similar materials.

NPT Threaded Equipment:

Use Teflon tape to seal the threads.

When fixing the device, only the hexagonal bolts need to be tightened. Do not turn the case.

Do not overtighten the screws when tightening. Maximum tightening torque: 20 ... 30 Nm (14.75 … 22.13 lbf ft)

The maximum tightening torque is 40 Nm (29.50 lbf ft) for the following process connections:

Thread ISO228 G1/2 (selection code "GRC" or "GRJ" or "G0J")

Thread DIN 13 M20 x 1.5 (selection code "G7J" or "G8J")
