Endress+Hauser held the 21st Innovation Conference, with more than 500 innovators attending online. Due to the impact of the global pandemic, the previous year's innovation meeting was forced to be cancelled. In 2021, two innovation teams from different branches were invited to participate in the conference as representatives of the group's creativity and innovation spirit.
In 2020, Endress+Hauser filed its first batch of 276 invention patents, 42 fewer than in 2019. The overall balance remains inspiring: the total number of patents worldwide reached a record high of 738, 61 more than in 2019. Intellectual property rights are becoming more and more extensive. More than 8,900 patents and patented applications are the backbone of Endershaus' field instruments, solutions and service offerings.
Success comes from innovation

For more than 20 years, Endershaus has been committed to the effective protection of intellectual property rights through patent incentive strategies. In this context, the Group holds the Innovation Annual Meeting to provide a channel for innovators from all over the world to meet and communicate. At the meeting, awards were given to inventors with economically significant patents and highly innovative ideas. About 50 employees successfully appeared on the award stage of the annual meeting.
