The setting menu of the inverter is divided into a first-level menu, a second-level menu, etc., and the menu is followed by parameters.
If the inverter starts in standby (ready to run) condition, set the FUn-PSS-SP2 parameter to 15Hz, and then return to the standby state operation.
When it comes to practical setups, perhaps start with a central step. If there are other parameters that need to be set, you don't need to go back to standby mode, just go back to the corresponding level and continue to set it. After all the parameters are set, the demand is back to the standby state and ready to start. Some parameters can also be set during certain processes in the drive.
The wrong setting can damage the drive! Don't set the parameters that you haven't figured out!
Common parameters are some of the most commonly used parameters, including the following (take the Altivar31 inverter as an example):
1. Upper frequency (high speed) SEt - HSP and lower limit frequency (low speed) SEt - LSP
The upper frequency is the frequency corresponding to the *** large given, and the lower frequency is the frequency corresponding to the *** small given. The upper and lower limit frequencies are set to limit the speed of the motor, and then meet the requirements of equipment operation and control.
2. Acceleration time (acceleration ramp time) SEt - ACC and deceleration time (deceleration ramp time) SEt - dEC
The acceleration moment is the moment required for the inverter to accelerate from 0 Hz to an additional frequency (usually 50 Hz), and the acceleration ramp type is set by FUn—rPC—rPt. The deceleration time is the moment it takes for the inverter to decelerate from the extra frequency to 0Hz. It is necessary to match the acceleration and deceleration time of the load when setting the acceleration and deceleration. The higher the power of the motor, the longer the acceleration and deceleration time required. Generally, for motors below 11kW, the acceleration and deceleration times can be set within 10 seconds.
For large-capacity motors, if the acceleration time is too short, the inverter may overcurrent trip; Setting the deceleration time is too short, and the inverter may overvoltage trip. Regarding the condition of multi-motor synchronous operation, if the acceleration time is set too short, the inverter may be over-current tripped, and the acceleration time is set to be too long, and the synchronization performance during driving will deteriorate; If the deceleration time is too short, the inverter may be overvoltage tripped, and the deceleration time is too long, because the power of each motor is different and the load difference is large, which may make the motors unable to stop at the same time, forming difficulties in the next start-up.
Therefore, when multiple motors are running synchronously, it is necessary to set the acceleration and deceleration time, which is also one of the primary items for equipment commissioning.
3. Save the equipment drC (or I-O, CtL, FUn)-SCS
Frequently used settings or settings that are feasible after on-site commissioning can be saved and restored when needed. However, you can only save equipment once, and when you save it again, the originally saved settings will be replaced by the newly saved settings.
As soon as the SCS parameters are saved, they are actively changed to nO.
4. Come back to the factory to set up/rehabilitation equipment drC (or I-O, CtL, FUn)-FCS
During the commissioning of the inverter, there may be occasional functions and data disorders due to improper operation and other reasons, and the equipment can be repaired (FCS parameter set to rECI) or returned to the factory setting (FCS parameter set to InI), and then the parameters are set again.
As soon as the FCS parameter is saved, it is automatically changed to nO.
5. Motor phase loss detection FLt-OPL
The motor phase loss detection is the basic function of the inverter, and it is also necessary for practical use. However, in the test bench of Jinan Xingke, because the motor power is too small and no-load, the motor current is simply equal to zero, and the inverter cannot detect the motor current, thinking that the motor is not connected. Therefore, it is necessary to set the OPL parameter to nO in the laboratory (motor phase loss is not detected), otherwise the inverter will not be able to operate. However, in practice, the OPL parameter must be set to yES (motor phase loss detection).
