Rated Operating Voltage (Current):
Also known as coil voltage, it refers to the voltage or current at which the relay can work reliably. When the relay is operating, the relay coil input voltage or current should be equal to this value. In order to adapt to the requirements of different circuits, a certain type of relay has a variety of rated working voltages or working currents, such as DC24V, AC110V, etc.
Contact switching voltage and current:
Refers to the voltage and current that the relay is allowed to load. It determines the size of the voltage and current that the relay can control, and it cannot exceed this value when used, otherwise it is easy to damage the contacts of the relay.
Contact Load:
Refers to the current that is allowed to pass through the contacts of the relay and the voltage applied, i.e. the maximum load voltage that the contacts can withstand. In order to ensure that the contacts are not damaged, a relay with a small contact load cannot be used to control the circuit with a large load.
Contact Resistance:
In the closed state, there is a contact resistance between the coupling contacts, if the contact resistance is too large, it may cause the voltage drop of the controlled circuit to be too large or not working; In the disconnected state, it is required that there is a certain insulation resistance between the contacts, if the insulation resistance is insufficient, it may lead to breakdown discharge, resulting in the conduction of the controlled circuit; There is contact bounce phenomenon in the closing process, which may destroy the reliable closure of the contact; Arc damage can occur during the disconnection process, and the contacts are reliably disconnected.
Pick-up voltage (current):
The minimum voltage that a relay can produce a pick-up action is called the pick-up voltage. The minimum current value that a relay can generate for a pick-up action is called a pick-up current. In order to make the relay reliably suction action, the actual voltage value slightly greater than the rated voltage (current) must be added to the coil, but it should not be too high, generally 1.5 times the rated value, otherwise the coil will be burned out.
Pick-up time:
It refers to the time interval required for the contact to move from the release state to the engaged state after the relay coil is powered.
Release voltage (current):
The maximum voltage required to move the relay from the pick-up state to the release state is called the release voltage. The maximum current required to move the relay from the pick-up state to the release state is called the release current. In order to ensure that the relay is reliably released as required, the voltage on the coil of the relay must be less than the release voltage (current) when the relay is released.
Release time:
It refers to the time interval required for the contact to move from the engaged state to the released state after the relay coil is de-energized.
Medium Pressure:
The withstand voltage value between the materials selected in the production of relays.
