The BP2 series is a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor that takes a digital or analog output of pressure readings over a specified full-scale pressure range and temperature. They utilize an on-board application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) to calibrate and temperature compensate for sensor bias, sensitivity, temperature effects, and accuracy errors, including nonlinearity, repeatability, and hysteresis.
Calibrated pressure and temperature outputs are updated at a rate of approximately 200 kHz. All products are designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. The liquid media option includes an additional gel coating to protect the electronics under port P1 for use with non-corrosive liquids such as water and salt water or in applications where condensation may occur.
The ABP2 series is available in tube packaging. Tape and reel packaging is available upon request.
