Step action

To perform any of the following operations, the Epson robot can be moved to the teach-in position. Scatter step operations one after another

1. Scatter the step operation

In step-by-step, the robot will scatter the movement when the step key is pressed. Use the [Jog Distance] key to set the step interval (long interval, medium interval, short interval) in advance.

Press and hold the enable switch together with the step key to perform the step operation.

When performing a stepping operation, the robot moves in only one direction, even if two keys are pressed together. If more than three buttons are pressed at the same time, the robot does not move.

2. Successive step operations

In sequential stepping, the Epson robot moves one after the other when the step button is pressed. Use the [Jog Distance] key to set the step interval to "sequential" steps.

Step interval

Press and hold the enable switch together with the step button to perform the step-by-step operation.

When performing a sequential step operation, multiple keys are pressed together to perform the step operation. For example, press the <+X> and <+Y> keys together to perform diagonal stepping. If more than three keys are pressed at the same time, the Epson robot does not move.

1. Teach

Applies the robot bearing to the specified point number.

(1) Set the following items on the [Online Teach] panel.

[Point File]: Point file title [Point]: Point number

(2) Click the button. If the dot number has already been used, a message box will pop up asking if the data is overwritten.

(3) Enter the point title and comment it in the message dialog box that appears.

(4) Click the button in the message dialog box to temporarily save the robot orientation data.

(5) Click the button to save the changes.
