1. If it is installed on metal, a certain space must be ensured to avoid interference between the proximity switch and the metal other than the detection object, resulting in failure. The metal parallel to the sensing surface must be 3 times the sensing distance from the sensing surface. The metal around the proximity switch shaft must be outside the cylinder, close to the center of the switch shaft, and the diameter must be three times the diameter of the proximity switch.

2. When two or more proximity switches are installed at the same time, the axial distance of the two sensing surfaces should be at least 5 times the sensing distance when the switch is set to 1, so as to avoid mutual interference between the two. When installed side-by-side, the distance must be at least 3 times the diameter of the switch. If the switch diameters are different, the maximum diameter of the proximity switch needs to be calculated.

3. Do not touch the measured object and the switch to avoid damage caused by friction or collision.

4. It is easy to cause damage by pulling the proximity switch cable by hand. It is best to use a clamp to secure the cable at a distance of 10c from the switch.

5. When operating the switch, ensure that the distance is within 2/3 of the rated distance, so as to avoid other factors in the environment causing the sensitivity of the proximity switch to be too high or too low.
