The R300 series is a passive RTD (Resistive Temperature Device) high temperature probe. The rugged stainless steel sealed probe head design enables reliable operation in harsh environments while ensuring extremely fast response times. The all-in-one sensor with integrated connectors is designed for heavy-duty truck engine EGR (exhaust gas circulation) systems where temperatures can increase dramatically to 300°C (572°F).
Other possible applications for this heavy-duty sensor include engine fluid or air temperature sensing, or industrial applications such as HVAC or refrigeration compression equipment. In general, for the industrial application described, this sensor package and temperature range are well suited.
