These small, versatile, digital Hall-effect devices operate from a magnetic field provided by a permanent magnet or electromagnet and can respond to alternating north and south poles. A built-in regulator provides stable operation outside of the 4.5 Vdc to 24 Vdc supply voltage range, and an internal circuit system prevents damage to the sensor if the supply voltage polarity is accidentally reversed.
The current sink output voltage of this open collector can be easily connected to a variety of electronic circuits. The SS41 is tested at temperatures of 25°C [77°F] and 125°C [257°F].
For design flexibility, these products are available in the following TO-92 package types:
SS41: Standard straight leads, bulk
SS41-L: Long straight leads, in bulk
SS41-T2: Molded pins, ammunition pack-type tape and reel box
SS41-T3: Standard straight pin, ammunition pack-type tape and reel box
SS41-S: Surface mount, bulk
SS41-SP: Surface mount, pocket tape and reel
