On September 20, 2022, Berlin time, the 13th Germany Berlin International Rail Transit Exhibition (InnoTrans 2022) opened at the Berlin International Exhibition Center in Germany. Following the exhibition in 2018, Hollysys once again appeared at the Berlin International Rail Transit Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Berlin Exhibition) to show international exhibitors and visitors the achievements of Hollysys in high-speed rail and urban rail transit in recent years, and discuss technological innovation and development with global industry colleagues.

  Known as the "Olympic Games" in the field of rail transit, the Berlin Exhibition is the most important and comprehensive exhibition of railway and rail transit industry achievements in the world today, where the latest research results and cutting-edge technical concepts in the field of railway and rail transit from all over the world are displayed. In this exhibition, Hollysys brought advanced products and technologies such as high-speed rail automatic driving system, high-speed railway train control system, edge intelligent control cloud node (ECC), and subway signaling system solutions to the exhibition.

High-Speed Rail Autonomous Driving System (High-Speed Rail ATO)

Hollysys has been deeply engaged in the field of rail transit automation for more than 20 years, growing from the initial exploration, to now there are more than 2,800 sets of train control on-board systems used in various models of Fuxing and Harmony EMUs in the national high-speed rail network, accounting for half of the train control on-board systems (as of the end of 2021), and are the "practitioners" and "builders" in the field of China's trunk railway train operation control system and urban rail transit integrated monitoring system. The high-speed rail ATO exhibited this time is one of the technical achievements made by this "practitioner" and "builder".

  High-speed rail ATO is one of the important directions for the development of rail transit in the future, and it is also an indispensable part of the intelligent train control system. Hollysys high-speed rail ATO is based on the high-speed rail train control system, with an ATO unit on board and a precise parking transponder on the ground to achieve automatic driving, which not only improves transportation efficiency and ensures the personal safety of passengers getting on and off the train, but also improves the punctuality rate, passenger comfort and driving efficiency, reduces the driver's labor intensity and locomotive traction energy consumption indicators, and meets the intelligent operation needs of the high-speed railway with an operating speed of 350km/h.

In the field of urban rail transit, Hollysys has solutions and products including integrated monitoring system, signal system, and integrated driving automation system, which are widely used in 58 subway lines in 16 cities in China. In the context of the rapid development of urban rail transit in the direction of digitalization and intelligence, Hollysys has built a smart urban rail architecture with "cloud-edge-end" collaboration to realize centralized management and control of the cloud layer, decentralized autonomy at the edge, and provide partners with an intelligent sharing ecology.

  The edge intelligent control cloud node is used to realize the integrated bearer of intelligent control, on-site access and edge computing, and has been successfully applied at the Taipingqiao Demonstration Station of Beijing Metro Line 19. Relying on ECC to build an intelligent electromechanical management platform iBAS, the station integrates traditional BAS equipment monitoring, feng shui linkage energy-saving control and intelligent diagnosis functions of platform doors, batteries and other electromechanical equipment, builds a unified control network, and realizes the unified access of traditional production control data and high-frequency operation and maintenance data. ECC replaces multiple sets of traditional controllers and intelligent diagnostics and other hardware to achieve comprehensive hardware bearing, which greatly saves the space of the computer room and the cost of construction and operation and maintenance.

Subway signaling system solutions

In this exhibition, Hollysys also focused on the signal system solutions for urban rail transit, including: train operation control system (CBTC) solution based on wireless communication, fully automatic operation system FAO solution, train control system solution based on active control, etc.

Among them, CBTC is based on obtaining train autonomous positioning information from wireless communication to realize driving permission based on mobile blocking, CBTC system can ensure the safe operation of each train, and realize unmanned driving through ATO, which has been successfully applied in Kunming Changshui Airport Line; The automatic operation system is a large rail transit automation system with the signal system as the core, composed of the vehicle system, the integrated monitoring system, the communication system, the electromechanical system and the power supply system, to realize the automatic operation of the rail transit line with the typical characteristics of the unmanned train, compared with the traditional signal system, the automatic operation system is more reliable, efficient and intelligent, and has been successfully applied to Beijing Metro Line 17; The train control system solution based on active control is centered on the train, and through the innovation of the train operation control concept, the system architecture and trackside equipment are simplified, so as to realize the on-demand use of trackside resources and the autonomous operation of trains, and provide users with higher transportation efficiency and more flexible operation capabilities on the basis of reducing costs.
