Honeywell's PX2 Series heavy-duty pressure transducers offer an extensive portfolio of configurable pressure transducers. These sensors feature piezoresistive sensing technology based on ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning and are housed in stainless steel housings. The PX2 series utilizes an on-board ASIC for full calibration and compensation for sensor zero, sensitivity, temperature effects, and nonlinearity. These sensors can measure absolute, sealed gauge pressure, or vented gauge pressure. The absolute pressure sensor is equipped with an internal vacuum reference value, and the output value is proportional to the absolute pressure; Sealed gauge pressure sensors are provided with an internal pressure reference value equal to one atmosphere of pressure at sea level; Ventilation gauge pressure sensors measure pressure relative to ambient pressure. These products are RoHS certified and designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.

The PX2 series is available in three pressure ranges:

1 bar to 70 bar

100 kPa to 7 MPa

15 psi to 1000 psi

Media compatibility: common HFC (hydrofluorocarbon) refrigerants such as R410A and R134A; next-generation lower global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants such as R448A (Solstice® N40), R32, and R1234ZE; engine oil; petroleum-based hydraulic fluids; DOT 3 brake fluid; and dry air. Longer and longer-lasting: The PX2 series is designed to operate in the harsh environments common to HVAC/refrigeration and air compressor applications. The sensors can withstand at least 10 million pressure cycles and have an ingress protection rating of up to IP69K.
