Step 1

Step 2

Unplug all the external devices of the industrial motherboard, save only the power supply cable of the industrial motherboard, then unplug the memory and power up, check whether the industrial motherboard has a long beep alarm sound, whether the CPU fan speed, and each power indicator are normal (this method is not suitable for industrial motherboards without buzzers). If there is a memory alarm sound, the CPU is normal, and if there is no memory alarm sound, the CPU is not working, that is, the industrial motherboard is not lit. If the circuit connection is normal, that is, the jumper is correct, if there is another sound instead of the memory alarm, it is a CPU or industrial motherboard failure.

Step 3

Remove the CMOS, then power on to check if the industrial motherboard can alarm.

Step 4

Remove the CPU fan of the industrial motherboard, contact and check whether the CPU has temperature, if there is temperature, the CPU has been working, and if there is no temperature, the CPU is not working normally. In addition, remove the north bridge heatsink of the industrial motherboard, touch the north bridge to see if it is hot, and then contact other accessories to check whether there is a hot place.

Step 5

If the industrial motherboard is not hot, try to replace the CPU and memory modules, or plug and unplug the wiring and power supply of the industrial motherboard from the beginning. Regarding the industrial motherboard with onboard CPU, the general problem is in the memory, such as the oxidation of the gold finger to form a virtual connection, which causes the industrial motherboard not to start. You need to wipe the gold finger with an eraser, etc., or plug and unplug the memory module from the beginning several times to see if the industrial motherboard can start normally.
