CUHK EMBA2022 Shenzhen Orientation was successfully held at INVT

On June 24, the 2022 Shenzhen orientation event hosted by the EMBA (Chinese) Program of Chinese University of Hong Kong and the EMBA (Chinese) Alumni Association of Chinese University of Hong Kong was held in Shenzhen INVT Electric Co., Ltd. The event was honored to invite Professor Huang Chisen, Emeritus Professor of CUHK, Alumnus Wang Jian, Vice President of Industrial Automation Department of Shenzhen INVT Electric Co., Ltd., and Alumnus Wang Ting, Vice President of Beisen Talent Management Cloud Accounting Co., Ltd., to share the theme with you, and Prof. Liu Min, Project Director, to deliver a welcome speech.

In his speech, Professor Liu Min extended a warm welcome to the new students, and said that the CUHK EMBA (Chinese) programme integrates innovation, entrepreneurial energy and social responsibility into teaching. As a professional, choosing to return to school and participate in corporate learning is all about making breakthroughs in life and work, and Professor Liu believes that the above three points are still the key elements.

Professor Wong Chi-sum led the students on a "virtual tour of CUHK" and introduced the history of CUHK, its motto, its emblem and the significance of various landmark buildings to the students. The pictures on the screen evoked our yearning for CUHK, and we all expressed our hope that we could enter the school as soon as possible and experience the "unity of nature and man".

In addition, Professor Huang also shared his insights on enterprise development and personal development under the epidemic with the theme of "The Age of Great Changes: Self-management of Individuals and Enterprises", and shared with us his experience of helping students in poverty-stricken areas for many years.

Alumni Wang Jian, vice president of INVT's industrial automation work department, extended a warm welcome to all teachers and students, and waited for the rebirth to participate, so that the project was vibrant. Wang Jian first introduced the current business development status of INVT, and then shared the opportunities and challenges faced by industrial automation affairs under the wave of rapid development of China's intelligent manufacturing and the promotion of industrial transformation and promotion by the "double carbon" policy from the perspective of industry trends and shopping mall insights.

This time, Wang Ting, a 2018 alumnus and vice president of Beisen Talent Management Cloud Accounting Company, was specially invited to share the changes in the relationship between arrangement and talent in the context of the rapid development of Chinese enterprises with the topic of "Digital-driven Arrangement and Talent Innovation", and discussed with alumni how to deepen the connection between arrangement and talent and the key to digital-driven arrangement innovation. She believes that the main focus of the current arrangement innovation is talent management, process mechanism optimization, arrangement structure planning, and digital transformation.

In this sharing, the students felt that the harvest was full. During the trip, we visited INVT's exhibition hall together, learned about INVT's development history, current affairs, etc., and visited its development laboratory. Since its establishment in 2002, INVT has focused on the two major fields of industrial automation and power power, with the mission of "dedicating itself to providing value-for-money products and services and making customers more competitive", providing reliable products and solutions to a wide range of users. The company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 (stock code: 002334) and is a key high-tech enterprise of the National Torch Plan.
