In laboratory simulations, the device withstood a 2,000 amp or 10,000 volt lightning strike with no damage to the transient protector or transmitter. This protector continuously protects the transmitter from repetitive shocks (up to 5000 amps) and is designed as an all-weather stainless steel enclosure protector that is fully operational in the harshest environments.
