Description: The Rosemount/Rosemount Toroidal Conductivity Sensor 228 performs well in high conductivity liquids up to 2S/cm (2,000,000uS/cm). These sensors can still function in dirty and corrosive environments where metal electrode sensors can fail. The reliable sensor design makes the Rosemount 228 ideal for measuring the concentration of acid, alkali, and salt solutions.

The reinforced internal metal frame design has excellent vibration resistance
High temperature options that can withstand process temperatures up to 200°C (392°F) and are suitable for use at high pressures up to 295psi (2135kPa [abs]).
Suitable for plug-in and immersion applications
Extensive mounting options with 3/4" MNPT or 5/8" 11 UNC process connectors
With the optional retract assembly kit, the sensor can be removed from the pipe or tank without shutting down the process
