1. The safety valve should have the equipment to prevent the hammer from moving by itself and the guide frame to limit the lever from deviating, and the spring-type safety valve should have the equipment to raise the handle and prevent the adjustment screws from being twisted at will.
2. It should be installed straight in the highest position of the pot merchant and the collection box. Between the safety valve and the pot or header, there shall be no outlet pipe and valve for taking steam.
3. The cross-sectional area of the connection between the safety valve and the boiler shall not be less than the inlet cross-sectional area of the safety valve. If several safety valves are installed together on a short pipe directly connected to the boiler, the cross-sectional area of the short pipe should not be less than 1.25 times the exhaust area of all safety valves.
4. For boilers with additional steam pressure less than or equal to 3.82MPa, the throat diameter of the safety valve should not be less than 25mm, and for boilers with additional steam pressure greater than 3.82MPa, the throat diameter of the safety valve should not be less than 20mm.
5. The safety valve should generally be equipped with a steam exhaust pipe, which should be directly connected to the safety address and have enough cross-sectional area to ensure the smooth flow of steam exhaust. The bottom of the exhaust pipe of the safety valve should be equipped with a trap connected to the safety address, and the valve is not allowed to be installed on the exhaust pipe and the trap.
6. The safety valve of the pressure vessel should be installed directly on the highest position of the pressure vessel body. The safety valve of the liquefied gas storage tank must be installed in the gas phase. Generally, it can be connected with the container with a short pipe, and the diameter of the short pipe of this safety valve should not be less than the diameter of the safety valve.
7. Valves shall not be installed between the safety valve and the container, and the container of flammable, explosive or viscous medium can be installed in order to facilitate the cleaning or replacement of the safety valve, and the globe valve must be fully opened and sealed during normal operation to prevent disturbance.
8. For boilers with additional evaporation capacity greater than 0.5t/h, at least two safety valves shall be installed; Boilers with an additional evaporation capacity of less than or equal to 0.5t/h shall be equipped with at least one safety valve. Safety valves must be installed at the outlet of the separable economizer and the outlet of the steam superheater.
9. For the pressure vessel of flammable, explosive or toxic medium, the medium discharged by the safety valve must have safety equipment and recovery system. The device of the lever type safety valve must be in the plumb position, and the spring safety valve should also be installed straight to prevent affecting its operation. Attention should also be paid to the cooperation, the coaxiality of the parts and the uniform force of each bolt.
10. The outlet of the safety valve should have no resistance to prevent back pressure, if the secretion pipe is installed, its inner diameter should be greater than the outlet diameter of the safety valve, and the safety valve should pay attention to anti-freezing at the exclusion port.
11. The newly installed safety valve should be accompanied by a product certificate, and the device should be recalibrated, sealed and calibrated with a safety valve.
12. There shall be no valve between the pressure equipment and the safety valve, and the container containing flammable, explosive, toxic or viscous media can be equipped with a globe valve for easy replacement and cleaning, and its structure and diameter size shall not hinder the normal operation of the safety valve. During normal operation, the shut-off valve must be fully open and sealed.
