3. The effect of the pump shaft is to connect the coupling with the motor to transmit the torque of the motor to the impeller, so it is the primary component for transmitting mechanical energy.
4. The sliding bearing uses clear oil as lubricant, and the oil is added to the oil level. Too much oil will seep out along the pump shaft, too little bearing will overheat and burn out and cause accidents! During the operation of the water pump, the temperature of the bearing is up to 85 degrees, and the general operation is about 60 degrees.
5. The sealing ring is also known as the leakage reduction ring.
6. The stuffing box is mainly composed of packing, water seal ring, packing barrel, packing gland and water seal pipe. The effect of the stuffing box is first and foremost to close the gap between the pump casing and the pump shaft, so that the water in the pump does not flow to the outside and the outside air does not enter the pump. Always keep the vacuum inside the pump! When the pump shaft conflicts with the packing and generates heat, it is necessary to rely on the water seal to hold the water into the water seal ring to cool the packing! Keep the pump running properly. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the inspection of the stuffing box during the operation inspection of the pump! The packing needs to be changed after about 600 hours of operation.
