The new HART modules for Turck's excom I/O system are faster, more reliable in signal transmission and can be used at temperatures up to 70°C

Turck presented the new HART module for the excom I/O system. The module has fully resistively isolated channels and thus prevents the influence of the ring to ground current on the measured values. The input module (AIH401Ex) and output module (AOH401Ex) supporting the HART protocol are used in a heat-resistant process, which allows excom to be used for operating temperatures up to +70 °C. In this way, the I/O system can be placed closer to the fieldbus device, even under extreme temperature conditions.

The new HART module processes information from multivariable measurement devices and processes diagnostic or condition information faster than previous modules. In addition, since the module provides a corresponding communication controller for each channel, the information can be evaluated together.
